Insulators for overhead lines

Post insulators

They are produced for voltage levels of 12, 24 and 36 kV. Construction is performed in conformance to IEC -720 or according to the customer’s request. Mainly, “TIE-TOP” type is manufactured; “CLAMP-TOP” type may also be manufactured. Insulators may be manufactured according to the bending resistance classes of 8 kN and 12.5 kN. The assembly is mainly performed using sulphur binder or cement. Manufacturing material is mass C-110 and C-120.

Long rod insulators

They are mainly manufactured for the voltage level of 24 kV. Construction is performed in conformance to IEC -433 or according to the customer’s request. Insulators are manufactured according to the tensile load of 40 kN and 60 kN. After the ultrasonic pieces testing, the assembly is performed using cement binder, and before mechanical pieces testing is performed, pieces are put in water. Manufacturing material is mass C-120.

Shackle insulators

They are manufactured according to DIN or ANSI standards or according to the customer’s request. Manufacturing material is mass C-110, and it is tested in conformance to IEC-383. Manufacturing material is mass C-110.
